Conference: New Technologies and Intellectual Property Law

A conference entitled “New Technologies and Intellectual Property Law – Intellectual Property Court” will be held on 14 November 2019 in Warsaw.

The purpose of the Conference is to initiate academic discussion of intellectual property law evolution in light of the dynamically changing digital economy technologies.

The following matters will be discussed during the meeting:

  • Directive on copyright in the Digital Single Market – what direction should it take and what should be the scope of its implementation?
  • Protection of intellectual property – what are the necessary changes in judiciary in terms of intellectual property?
  • New technologies law – are specific regulations on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things possible today?

We are pleased to inform you that Paweł Podrecki, PhD Habil., Professor of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, is one of the speakers during the event.

Registration for the Conference will begin on 15 October 2019.
