With a passionate interest in trademark law, Aleksandra focuses her practice on intellectual property and unfair competition law.
At our firm, Aleksandra is a key member of the intellectual property team. As a qualified patent attorney, she provides expert advice on trademarks, assisting clients in matters related to trademark development, the registration process, and disputes, including trademark infringement litigation. Aleksandra also has rich experience of working with other objects of intellectual property: patents, utility models, and industrial designs. As a patent attorney, she represents clients both before the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland and before Polish courts of general jurisdiction, including the Court of Arbitration for Internet Domains at the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
Aleksandra acquired extensive experience in the area of intellectual property during her time as an expert at the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante (formerly the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market), where her responsibilities included issuing decisions concerning absolute and relative grounds for refusal of registration. The position she held there allowed her to develop key skills in the field of intellectual property and build up vast experience in EU trademark procedures.
Aleksandra graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź. She holds membership in the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys (PIRP), in the International Trademark Association (INTA), where she sits on the Internet Committee, and in the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
