As a member of IT-Telco team, she advises clients operating in the IT industry. She participates in cases relating to new technologies law, including telecommunications law, personal data protection law, and intellectual property law.
She has extensive experience in providing advice on IT projects related to preparing, verifying and negotiating implementation and service agreements, among others. She also participates in large infrastructure projects implemented with EU funds.
In her earlier practice, she dealt with patent law, in particular as regards the patenting of software in US law.
Magdalena is the co-author of a report about public-private partnership regulations in selected countries of the European Union, including in Poland, prepared at the request of the Ministry of Digitization. She also co-authored and authored publications regarding IT, industrial property law, and personal data protection, published in such magazines as “Ochrona Danych Osobowych” [Personal Data Protection] or “IT Professional”: Rola współdziałania zamawiającego we wdrożeniu systemu IT – zagadnienia prawne [The Role of Client’s Cooperation in Implementing IT System – Legal Issues] (together with Agnieszka Wachowska, December 2016); Jak opatentować oprogramowanie? [How to Patent Software] (October 2016), Branżowe kodeksy postępowania [Sector-Specific Codes of Conduct] (June 2017).
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. She is the winner and participant of competitions for international law students concerning trademark law and mediation, in which she represented the Jagiellonian University. She received an Erasmus scholarship at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (the Netherlands). She is a graduate of the School of American Law organised by The Catholic University of America, Columbus Law School in Washington, DC, and the Jagiellonian University.
She is fluent in English, speaks French, and is learning Spanish.
