Agata’s practice focus is civil law and intellectual property law, in particular trademark law, as well as cases concerning defending personality rights and combating unfair competition. At TKP, Agata is part of the industrial property law and brand management team in the intellectual property practice.
She advises on cases before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the Polish Patent Office, and also common courts, including intellectual property courts.
She developed her professional experience at prestigious law firms in Warsaw, and is a trainee attorney-at-law with the Warsaw Bar Association. Agata studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and wrote her master’s degree thesis at the Chair of Civil Law under Professor Krystyna Szczepanowska – Kozłowska on protection of an industrial design under EU law. She has also studied at the Hugo Grotius Centre for Intellectual Property Rights. Agata has attended many national scientific conferences on civil law and intellectual property law.
She advises clients in Polish and English.
