Dominika Kobiec
Bio
At TKP, Dominika is part of the Intellectual Property practice, with a particular focus on trademark law, industrial designs, and unfair competition law.
She has experience in proceedings before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Polish Patent Office, common and administrative courts, as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in matters concerning the international registration of trade marks. She has also participated in criminal proceedings concerning counterfeit goods.
She has advised Polish and international businesses, public-sector entities and private individuals on intellectual property matters, including by preparing legal opinions and analyses.
She has participated in numerous courses and training programmes, including workshops on improving legal drafting skills in civil proceedings, held under the patronage of the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law.
During her studies, she was actively involved in academic activities. She was a member of the Civil Procedure and Arbitration Student Research Group at SWPS University and provided legal advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and start-ups through the business support section of the Student Legal Services Education Center at the SWPS University.
Dominika graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law at SWPS University in Warsaw and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Intellectual Property and New Media Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She is currently training to qualify as an advocate at the Warsaw Bar Association.
She is fluent in English.
