At TKP, Julia works in the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Team, and her practice focus is intellectual property, in particular disputes concerning copyright, industrial designs, and trademarks. Julia also deals with matters relating to protection of personality rights and combating unfair competition.
Julia deals with cases before common courts and also intellectual property courts, before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the Polish Patent Office.
She gained her professional experience working at a law firm in Kraków and on an internship at the Polish Patent Office.
Julia studied intellectual property and new media law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, and completed with distinction a Joint Master’s Degree Programme in Intellectual Property and New Technologies run by the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, Polish Patent Office, and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Julia has taken part many times in the Kraków Intellectual Property Law Summer School run by the Jagiellonian University and many national academic conferences on intellectual property law. She has taken part in the Erasmus+ scheme at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.
Julia has a fluent command of English and Italian.
