Bio

At TKP, Karolina is part of the commercial law and corporate advisory practice. Her practice focus is commercial and new technologies law, in particular merger issues and contracts. Karolina gained her professional experience in law firms in Krakow and as in-house counsel at a major IT provider. She has advised on many transactions and worked on many due diligence projects, including with an international element, and with international teams on implementation of IT solutions. Karolina provides clients with corporate housekeeping services, assisting in selection of optimal solutions.

She studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University and at the Cracow University of Economics Faculty of Finance. Karolina is registered as an attorney-at-law with the Cracow Bar Association.

She speaks English and French.

Amendment of the Commercial Companies Code has been published

On 12 April, a bill amending the Commercial Companies Code was published in the Polish Journal of Laws. The bill includes rules applicable for activities of holding companies, instruments strengthening the role of supervisory boards as well assimplifying the process of management of capital groups.
