Bio

Konrad’s practice focus is new technologies law, in particular regulatory issues. At TKP, he deals with Technologies, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, as part of the IT-Tech and Public Procurement Law team. Konrad advises on issues such as IT law, cybersecurity, and certain tax aspects of innovative activity and creating software.

While studying, Konrad won intellectual property, new technologies, and data protection law competitions, and was awarded scholarships at two international summer schools on new technologies law. He attended the first TKP Academy program.

Konrad studied law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at Wrocław University. He is a trainee attorney-at-law with the Warsaw Bar Association.

He completed a postgraduate course on negotiation and mediation at the SWPS University in Warsaw, and cybersecurity management at the Koźmiński University. He is an ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System Lead Auditor.

He speaks fluent English.

The draft amendment to the Act on the National Cybersecurity System was submitted to the Sejm

On 3 July 2023, a government bill amending the Act on the National Cybersecurity System and certain other acts (amendment to the ANCS) was submitted to the Sejm. This happened after nearly 33 months of work on the wording of the amended legislation. The adoption of the amendment continues to face new obstacles – work on it has now been postponed, due to its referral to a public hearing to be held on 11 September 2023.
