|At the Law Firm, Michał Matysiak is a member of the MCE team. Previously, he worked for a long time with the IT-Telco and Public Procurement Law Teams. He advises on new technologies and TMT, including digital media, e-commerce, advertising, IT, telecommunications, and computer games. Michał gained practical experience while working for reputed Kraków law firms. During his studies, he was involved in the activities of the University Legal Clinic at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. |
He is the author and co-author of publications on new technologies law, including Cloud Gaming – Selected Legal Problems (Monitor Prawniczy – 21/2019 (Special issue No.) and IoT in the Polish economy – Report of the Working Group on the Internet of Things (IoT).
He is currently studying for the bar with the Warsaw Bar Association. In 2018, he enrolled in a PhD program at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he also serves as a teaching assistant in the Department of Private Law and the New Technologies Law Centre.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University (graduated 2017), where he delivered his master’s thesis on Wybrane aspekty ochrony gier komputerowych przed zjawiskiem klonowania [Selected Aspects of Protection of Computer Games against Cloning], at the Department of Intellectual Property Law. He is also a graduate of the School of American Law operated by the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC (graduated 2017).
