|At our law firm, Michał Matysiak is a member of the MCE team. Previously, he worked with IT-Telco and public procurement law teams for a long time. He provides legal advisory services in the areas of new technologies and TMT including digital media, e-commerce, advertising, IT, telecommunications, and computer games. Michał gained practical experience while working for reputed Kraków law firms. During his studies, he was involved in the activities of the University Legal Clinic of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. |
Author and co-author of publications in the field of new technology law, including Cloud gaming – selected legal problems (Monitor Prawniczy – 21/2019 (Special No.) and IoT in the Polish economy – Report of the Working Group on Internet of Things (IoT).
He is currently a trainee legal advisor at the Warsaw Bar Association. In 2018, he enrolled in a PhD programme at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he also serves as teaching assistant in the Department of Private Law and the New Technologies Law Centre. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University (2017), where he defended his MA thesis, entitled Wybrane aspekty ochrony gier komputerowych przed zjawiskiem klonowania [Selected Aspects of Protecting Computer Games against Cloning], in the Department of Intellectual Property Law. He also graduated from the School of American Law organised by the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC (2017).
