Rafał Klimek specialises in civil, administrative and copyright protection law, with focus on issues of legal assistance in the investment process and real property trading. He has many years’ experience in court proceedings before administrative bodies, courts of law and courts of arbitration. In particular, he represents investors in matters of legality of planning decisions, litigations arising with the implementation of investments, as well as in issues related to copyright violation in the investment process. He provides advice on the acquisition of real property, obtaining decisions prior to proceeding with the investment process, as well as the creation of corporate structures intended for the optimisation of investment projects. In our law firm, he oversees the Real Property, Construction Projects and Reprivatisation team, and participates in the work of the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration and Economic Law and Corporate Consultancy teams.
He works as an expert in a parliamentary team that deals with ownership relationships.
He runs training sessions on legal audits of real property and copyrights to design documentation. He participated as a speaker in a televised debate on the Reprivatisation Bill. Author of the publication “Dyskusyjne problemy przedawnienia roszczeń” in the quarterly “Kwartalnik Prawa Prywatnego”, and co-author of the article “Instytucja gospodarczej niemożliwości świadczenia w zobowiązanych umownych w systemie common law oraz prawie niemieckim – szkic prawoporównawczy” in the magazine “Problemy Współczesnego Prawa Międzynarodowego Europejskiego i Porównawczego”.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, and has completed his PhD in the Department of Civil Law of the Jagiellonian University. He has also completed postgraduate studies at the Cracow School of Business in the domain of Project Management at the Cracow University of Economics.
