Bio

She specialises in industrial property law and the protection of personal rights. She also has experience in copyright law and contract and agreement drafting. Her interests also include combating unfair competition. Immediately after graduation, she completed an internship of more than one year at the European Patent Office in Munich (EPO) where she was part of a team handling, among other things, the practical application of the provisions of the European Patent Convention (EPC) and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). Subsequently, she gained professional experience by working with law firms in Kraków and Warsaw dealing, among others, with comprehensive services for Polish and foreign business entities in the field of industrial property and copyright law.

A graduate of Law and the Intellectual Property and New Media Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University. At the same faculty, she completed the School of American Law organised in cooperation with The Catholic University of America, Columbus Law School, and the School of Spanish Law organised in cooperation with Universidad de Alicante and Universidad de Granada. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, she has twice participated in student exchanges: at Universitat de Barcelona and Université de Lille 2: Droit et Santé. Recipient of the Polish “Diamond Grant”. In connection with a directed research project, she conducted research at King’s College London and Freie Universität Berlin, among others.

Author of scientific publications and speaker at numerous scientific conferences. She is currently undergoing a legal counsel traineeship at the Regional Chamber of Legal Counsels in Kraków and preparing her doctoral thesis at the Chair in Civil Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.

She speaks English, Spanish, French, and German.
